\u00a0Paul Immanuel<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Paul Immanuel is the founder and CEO of Immanuel Consulting Services, LLC. His experience is primarily in technology, but he also has experience in operations, manufacturing, and vendor management. In the last two years, he has focused on data privacy, data science, and the use of Robotic Process Automation to manage data efficiently for streamlining operations. He is also taking courses to be certified in the fields of data science and data privacy. His technology experience includes years in hardware design and development, software design, as a technical architect, and the lead in several major initiatives over a long career at IBM. He keeps up with technology and is focused on reducing long-term technology costs for companies. Proficient in multiple operating systems, he can help your company reduce operating costs through the efficient use of technology. His strengths are particularly strong in telecommunications, data networking, and workflow management. He has supported the financial, telecommunication, pharmaceutical, and utility industries. He has published in journals, has multiple patents, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars. Paul is an electrical engineering graduate of North Carolina State University and has had additional master\u2019s level education in electrical engineering and computer science.<\/p>\n

Paul is a naturalized American citizen, is very patriotic, and loves to help the American defense infrastructure and businesses that cater to the American military. Paul is a North Carolina Executive Roundtable (NCER) member, serving on the board of directors. Paul is also a Life Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), A member of the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.(AAAS).<\/p>\n

Paul is also active in community and church affairs. He has served on the board of directors of Guiding Lights (a caregiver support center in Raleigh, NC) and was on the board of Transitions LifeCare (founded as Hospice of Wake County)for a total of 12 years.. He is an elder at Blacknall Presbyterian Church, teaches an Adult Sunday School class, and has sung in the church choir for over 20 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nick Kovacic<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nick Kovacic brings many years of experience in leading Nick companies; with extensive Business Development, Marketing, and Sales experience in the Telecommunications and On-Line Marketplace. Nick was one of the original members of Defywire, a WDC based Mobile Software Company. Nick was a Partner, with Phil McKinney at The Techtrend Group (TTG), a WDC based consulting firm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to TTG; Nick was a seed investor of WebCal (New York, NY). While\u00a0working with WebCal, Mr. Kovacic raised private venture capital,\u00a0launched the WebCal brand, and orchestrated a successful sale to\u00a0Yahoo! (Now the Yahoo! Free Calendar Service).<\/span><\/p>\n

Nick was VP of Business Development of the Vicinity Corporation, a pioneer in Digital Mapping\/GPS\/LBS\/Web-based company, which was purchased by MSFT in May of 2003 (off the public market; following an\u00a0IPO in 2000).<\/span><\/p>\n

Other accomplishments include as an investor and advisor in a number\u00a0of firms including; eGuard (Gator) which subsequently closed a follow-on\u00a0$20 Million round with Menlo Ventures; and Ventaso, which raised\u00a0follow-on funding of $30M from Norwest and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, Nick\u2019s portfolio companies have raised more than $200 million\u00a0dollars. Currently, Nick maintains his ties to the WDC Metro Technology\u00a0Community as an advisor to DBT Data Inc. (Ashburn, VA), Otolith Labs \u00a0(WDC), Welbeck Security LLC (Bethesda, MD), (Exited) ScinDocs Inc.\u00a0(Boston, MA), Vocinity (Martinsburg, WV). He is a founding member of\u00a0the U.S. Naval Academy High Tech Council (The \u00a0bardroom). Nick holds a\u00a0BA in Economics. He worked at University of MD in College Park as a\u00a0Mentor to the UMD Tech Entrepreneur Program at the Robert Smith\u00a0School of Business.<\/span><\/p>\n
